Our History Mother Teresa College of Teacher Education, Perambra was established in 2006 and managed by Rural Educational and Socialm Trust. This Society is directed by CMI St. Thomas Province Calicut. Rural Educational and Soicial Trust (REST) is a volunatary organisation registred as 500/94 before the District Registrar(General) Kozhikode under Societies Registration Act of 1860. The main Objective of the Organisation is to provide best quality education especially to the poor who are residing in rural areas, and develop them to accept and adopt latest technologies for earning a better living. The Organisation intends to provide its service to general public as a charitable one benefiting the rural poor without any distinction or regard to religion, race, caste, creed, community, gender,colour,or nativity The organisation intends to work for the upliftment of the people by giving them a holistic training approach i.e, spiritual,mental and physical development in their life style. In terms of section 14(3) of NCTE Act and in accordance with the regulations, 2014, the Southern Regional Committee, NCTE has granted recognition to Mother Teresa College of Teacher Education for Conducting B.Ed Programme of two years duration with an annual intake of 50 students from the Academic session 2015-16.
